  他铺张云彩当遮盖，夜间使火光照（诗105：39）。　　　父亲怎样怜恤他的儿女，耶和华也怎样怜恤敬畏他的人。因为他知道我们的本体，思念我们不过是尘土（诗103：13，14）。　　　白日，太阳必不伤你；夜间，月亮必不害你（诗121：6）。必有亭子，白日可以得荫避暑，也可以作为藏身之处，躲避狂风暴雨（赛4：6）。

  慈爱和诚实彼此相遇；公义和平安彼此相亲（诗85：10）。　　　我是公义的　神，又是救主（赛45：21）。　　　耶和华因自己公义的缘故，喜欢使律法为大、为尊（赛42：21）。　神在基督里叫世人与自己和好，不将他们的过犯归到他们身上（林后5：19）。　神设立耶稣作挽回祭，是凭着耶稣的血，藉着人的信，要显明　神的义。因为他用忍耐的心，宽容人先时所犯的罪，好在今时显明他的义，使人知道他自己为义，也称信耶稣的人为义（罗3：25，26）。他为我们的过犯受害，为我们的罪孽压伤。因他受的刑罚我们得平安；因他受的鞭伤我们得医治（赛53：5）。谁能控告　神所拣选的人呢？有　神称他们为义了（罗8：33）。惟有不作工的，只信称罪人为义的　神，他的信就算为义（罗4：5）。　　Mercy　and　truth　are　met　together；　righteousness　and　peace　have　kissed　each　other。　　A　just　God　and　a　Saviour。　　The　LORD　is　well　pleased　for　his　righteousness'　sake；　he　will　magnify　the　law；　and　make　it　honourable。

  你们也要听见打仗和打仗的风声，总不要惊慌（太24：6）。

  你所击打的，他们就逼迫（诗69：26）。　　　绊倒人的事是免不了的，但那绊倒人的有祸了（路17：1）！他既按着　神的定旨先见被交于人，你们就藉着无法之人的手把他钉在十字架上杀了（徒2：23）。他们就吐唾沫在他脸上，用拳头打他；也有用手掌打他的，说：基督啊，你是先知，告诉我们打你的是谁？祭司长和文士并长老也是这样戏弄他，说：他救了别人，不能救自己。他是以色列的王，现在可以从十字架上下来（太26：67，68；27：41，42）。希律和本丢彼拉多、外邦人和以色列民果然在这城里聚集，要攻打你所膏的圣仆耶稣，成就你手和你意旨所预定必有的事（徒4：27，28）。　他诚然担当我们的忧患，背负我们的痛苦；我们却以为他受责罚，被　神击打苦待了（赛53：4）。

  耶和华却定意将他压伤，使他受痛苦（赛53：10）。　　　我现在心里忧愁，我说什么才好呢？父啊，救我脱离这时候，但我原是为这时候来的。父啊，愿你荣耀你的名。当时就有声音从天上来说：我已经荣耀了我的名，还要再荣耀（约12：27，28）。父啊，你若愿意，就把这杯撤去，然而，不要成就我的意思，只要成就你的意思。有一位天使从天上显现，加添他的力量（路22：42，43）。　　　既有人的样子，就自己卑微，存心顺服，以至于死，且死在十字架上（腓2：8）。我父爱我，因我将命舍去，好再取回来（约10：17）。因为我从天上降下来，不是要按自己的意思行，乃是要按那差我来者的意思行（约6：38）。我父所给我的那杯，我岂可不喝呢（约18：11）。　那差我来的，是与我同在；?
